Geirkogel is a less prominent peak east of Zirbitzkogel, located just a short distance off the marked trail from Waldheimhütte to Zirbitzkogel. From the broad summit there is a beautiful view towards Zirbitzkogel and Fuschkogel as well as the other surrounding mountains.
