Description of mountain:
Zirbitzkogel is, at an elevation of 2396 m, the highest peak of the Lavanttal Alps / Seetaler Alpen. From the top that has a cross and panorama board is a nice view towards other peaks in this Alps. In good visibility from the peak we can see Kamnik Savinja Alps, Karawanks and Julian Alps with Triglav. And even nicer is the view of the mountain ranges above the Drava and Mur valleys, where, in good visibility, Austria's highest peak, Grossglockner, can be clearly seen. The peak is wide and on nice weekends massively visited from all sides.
