Description of mountain:
Zirbitzkogel, at 2,396 m, is the highest peak of the Seetaler Alpen. From the summit, where a cross and a panorama board stand, there is a beautiful view of the other peaks in these Alps. On clear days, the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Karawanks, and Julian Alps with Triglav are visible from the peak. Even more impressive is the view of the mountain ranges above the Drava and Mur valleys, where Austria's highest peak, Grossglockner, can clearly be seen in good visibility. The summit is broad and heavily visited from all sides on nice weekends.
