Glave

Description of mountain:
Glave is an indistinct side ridge of Ponca, rising steeply west of Planica. Maps incorrectly label its highest peak (1,760 m) as Ovčja stran; that name refers to the cirque between Visoka Ponca and the Glave ridge. From this partly vegetated, little-visited summit, wonderful views open to Visoka Ponca, Ciprnik, the Mojstrovke ridge, and the central Julian Alps, where Špik and Škrlatica stand out.
