Mala Ponca / Ponza Piccola

Description of mountain:
Mala Ponca is a 1,925 m high peak between Planica and the Belopeška lakes. Though lower than neighboring Visoka Ponca, it offers fine views—especially of the peaks above both valleys, including Mangart, Vevnica, Visoka Ponca, and Ciprnik. On clear days, the panorama stretches from the Carnic Alps, across the Gailtal Alps, to the High Tauern, dominated by Großglockner (Veliki Klek).
