Žovnek Castle

Description of mountain:
Žovnek castle is situated on a smaller panoramic hill western, or northwest from the lake Žovneško jezero. From the castle, which they are currently renovating (January 2011), a beautiful view opens up towards the nearby Grmada, lake Žovneško jezero, part of the valley Savinjska dolina and Posavsko hribovje. On the castle, which was the first time mentioned in the 12th century there is an inscription box and an inscription book inside of it, the stamp is currently damaged (January 2011).
