Grünsee

Description of lake:
Grünsee (Green Lake) is located at 1,250 m above sea level in the Angerbachtal valley in the Carnic Alps near the Plöckenpass/Passo di Monte Croce pass and a good 10 minutes' walk from the Plöckenhaus hut. The lake is a popular excursion destination for walks with children and a favored spot for anglers. To the north above the lake rises the 2,332 m high mountain Polinik.
