Description of mountain hut:
The Heinrich Schwaiger Haus mountain hut is located at 2,802 meters on the northwestern side of the Großes Wiesbachhorn peak in the Glockner group. It offers a superb view of the Wasserfallboden and Mooserboden lakes and the peaks above them. Near the current site, the Kaindlhütte hut was built in 1872. The present hut was constructed in 1895 and has since been renovated and expanded several times. It also features a winter room with 12 bunks.
