Hochkreuz

Description of mountain:
Hochkreuz is a 2709 m high peak in the Kreuzeckgruppe group. From the top on which a cross stands and next to it a summit register box, there is a nice view on the mentioned group and part of the Gailtal Alps, where Reißkofel and its western neighbor Torkofel are most beautifully visible. In fine weather, the view reaches from the Julian Alps across the Carnic Alps to the highest peaks in the High Tauern.
