Description of mountain:
Hoher Kopf is located in the Berchtesgaden Alps, west of the highest peak, Höchkonig. The summit is popular mainly due to the protected climbing route Königsjodler, which ends right at the top. The view from the summit is fine on the nearby Höchkonig and its glacier, and the other mountains in the Berchtesgaden Alps on the German side of the border are also nicely visible.
