Description of mountain:
The Savinja Spring is a picturesque natural attraction located at an altitude of 1305 meters at the transition between the Okrešelj cirque and the steeper slope above the Logar Valley. The water emerges in a strong spring directly below the mighty walls of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, and after just a few hundred meters of wild and lively flow over a rocky threshold, it plunges into the depths as the famous 90-meter-high Rinka Waterfall.
The spring is constant and does not dry up even in the driest summer months. The water flowing from the high-mountain karst is exceptionally clean, crystal clear, and very cold.
