Javornik above Črni vrh

Description of mountain:
Javornik is a forested peak located southeast of Črni Vrh. In 1972, a lookout tower was erected on the summit, rising above the treetops to provide fine views. On clear days, the Dolomites, Carnic and Julian Alps, Karawanks, Kamnik Savinja Alps, and Snežnik are visible. Between these peaks, the Škofjeloško and Cerkljansko hills, part of the Ljubljana Basin, Notranjska hills, and part of the Gulf of Trieste come into view.
The tower ascent is slippery and dangerous when wet, and is at your own risk.
