Description of mountain:
Javornik is a forested peak located southeast of Črni Vrh. In 1972, a wooden observation tower was built on it, rising above the treetops and offering a magnificent view. In clear weather, the Dolomites, Carnic and Julian Alps, Karawanks, Kamnik-Savinja Alps, and Snežnik can be seen. Among them, one can also admire the Škofja Loka and Cerklje hills, part of the Ljubljana Basin, the Notranjska hills, and part of the Gulf of Trieste.
Climbing the tower is slippery when wet and is done at one's own risk.
