Lipnica

Description of mountain:
Lipnica is a high-mountain peak standing in the immediate vicinity of Špik and representing its southern neighbour. It lies on the ridge that descends from Špik towards the southeast. Although many visitors reach it only as the final stop on the ascent to Špik from the Krnica direction, it is an independent and exceptionally panoramic peak.
From the summit a direct and majestic view opens onto the southern faces of Špik, which rise right above us. To the east and southeast spreads the wild realm of the Martuljek Mountains with Velika Martuljska Ponca and Škrlatica, while to the southwest Prisojnik and Razor reign supreme. Deep below us wind the Pišnica and Krnica valleys, whereas the views into the surrounding cirques are only partially open from the summit.
