Škrlatica

Description of mountain:
Škrlatica is the second highest mountain in Slovenia. A cross stands on the summit, making it easily recognisable from neighbouring peaks. It also features a distinctive north-northwest wall that is clearly visible from the Vršič road. The view from the summit is stunning, encompassing all the peaks above the Vrata Valley—especially Triglav and the nearby Dolkova špica—while to the east the hard-to-reach Rokavi are beautifully seen. The summit also has a registration box.
