Bivak v Veliki Dnini

Description of bivouac:
Bivak I in Velika Dnina is a small bivouac with space for four people. It is located on a ledge below the slopes of Velika Ponca at the edge of the Velika Dnina cirque. From the bivouac, there is a superb view of the nearby walls of the peaks above Velika Dnina; to the west, Prisank is clearly visible, with Jalovec and Mangart in the background. The bivouac was built in 1935 and is the first in the Slovenian mountains. It is primarily intended for alpinists. A small reservoir with a drip system is located next to it.
