Description of mountain:
Dovški Križ is situated between Oltar and the lesser-known Škrnatarica above the alpine Vrata Valley. From the summit, there is a nice view towards the already mentioned Oltar and the neighboring Rokav. On the other side of the Vrata Valley, the highest Slovenian peak Triglav with its neighbors is visible. Directly below the north side of the peak lies the Amphitheater cirque.
