Description of mountain:
Some of numerous peaks of plateau Mežakla, which belongs to Julian Alps, are interesting as vantage points. One those is definitely peak Police with height 1184 meters, which is situated on the south edge of plateau, west from the village Perniki. Mainly in spring and late autumn time from this rocky peak offer nice views on more sides. On the west we are looking on part of Julian Alps from Kukova špica to Škrlatica, on the north on Karawanks from Kurjeki to Stol, on the south over Pokljuka wall Gabrje towards Bohinj hills with Črna prst and Rodica, and towards Ratitovec. A nice view opens also into a valley Radovna, on village Perniki and Krnica with part Gorje, and on the plateau Mežakla from the mountain pasture Ravne and its peaks - Petelin, Oblek and Jerebikovec.
