Rakov Škocjan

Description of mountain:
Rakov Škocjan is a karst valley at the foot of the Javorniki. It is about 2.5 km long, featuring the Mali and Veliki natural bridges, numerous springs and sinkholes, the sinking Rak river, and the ruins of St. Kancijan's church.
In addition to natural features, Rakov Škocjan includes Hotel Rakov Škocjan (closed for some time, as of August 2015), a forestry hut, the Rak school and extracurricular activities center, and numerous weekend cottages.
