Rojacher Hütte

Description of mountain hut:
The Rojacher Hütte mountain hut is situated in the Goldberg mountain group below the slopes of Hoher Sonnblick at 2718 meters. From the hut there is a very nice view towards the nearby Goldbergkees glacier and Hoher Sonnblick. Schareck (3122 m) and Alteck (2942 m) are also nicely visible. The hut is named after mine owner Ignaz Rojacher, who also built the meteorological observatory on the summit of Hoher Sonnblick. The hut is open from late June to late September.
