Samotni bor

Description of mountain:
Samotni bor is a peak northwest of Maribor, slightly further north and higher than the better-known Piramida, Mestni vrh, and Kalvarija. East of the peak is Ribniško selo, north is Vinarje, and west is Kamnica. The peak is forested and densely settled from the east and south, while to the west it is embraced by vineyards. Above Ribniško selo, the most traditional access point, lies the chapel of St. Rosalia, a few dozen meters below the summit. An interesting spot on a walk through Maribor's town park for an easy mini ascent and fine views.
