Sonnalpin

Description of hut:
The Sonnalpin restaurant is at the Zugspitze ski area on the "Auf dem Platt" plateau. It offers superb views of peaks above the plateau, with nearby Zugspitze prominently visible. It is usually quite crowded, as a cable car from Zugspitze summit and a train from Garmisch-Partenkirchen serve it. Nearby is Germany's highest chapel.
