Description of mountain:
It is a peak on the south side of Kanin mountains, one of the domes, which is from the main ridge seperated by wide plateau Kaninski podi, in some parts from a valley, mainly from Bovec we can see it as a sharp peak, and from elsewhere it is barely noticeable, because it is hidden behind higher peaks in the main ridge. A view reaches from the nearby Vrh Plaške Planje, Visoki Kanin, Prestreljenik, Rombon and other less known peaks in the mountain range to Mangrt, Jalovec, peaks in Loška stena, Bavški Grintavec, peaks above Kriški podi, Triglav, Kanjavec, Lepo Špičje to Krn mountains. In front of it, there is ridge of Polovnik, below left basin Bovška kotlina and right valley of Soča towards Kobarid, right from it, there are ridges of Stol, Matajur and Skutnik, and horizon over Velika Baba ends on a saddle Med Baban, over which in clear weather we see all the way to Antelao, Pelmo and Marmolada in the Dolomites.
