Visoko

Description of mountain:
Visoko is an easily accessible grassy plateau located south of Paški Kozjak. The summit features a monument to the fallen fighters of the 14th Division NOV, who broke through the enemy encirclement here on the night of February 18-19, 1944, and advanced across the Paka. To the north is a fine view of Paški Kozjak with the church of St. Jošt; to the east, Štrukljev vrh; to the south, the Celje Basin with part of the Posavsko hribovje; and to the west, Velenje, Šoštanj, Uršlja gora, Peca, Smrekovec, Golte, and Raduha, with parts of the Savinja Alps in the background.
