The saddle is located in country Italy 0.5 km southwest of peak Hohe Angelusspitze - L'Angelo Grande. The nearest mountain hut is Düsseldorfer Hütte (Zaytalhütte) - Rifugio Serristori, located 2km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac bench. 7 km southeast of the saddle there is lake Zufritt-Stausee - Lago di Gioveretto. 0.7 km east-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Großer Angelusferner - Vedretta dell'Angelo Grande, 1.1 km northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Ofenwandferner/Vedretta del Forno. The saddle is located southwest of the valley Laaser Tal - Valle di Laasa.
