Description:
Gschwandtsattel is a saddle at an altitude of 1743 meters in the mountain group Totes Gebirge. The saddle is located 0.4 km west-southwest of peak Bräuningzinken and east-jugoeast above the mountain pasture Gschwandtalm. The nearest mountain hut is Loserhütte, located 2km south-southwest. Closer is Jagdhütte, which is located 0.6km to the west-northwest. 4 km south of the saddle there is lake Altausseer See. West-northwest of the saddle is the valley Rettenbachtal.
