Hochkedlscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2500 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 6 km northeast from the center of Zandlach and 6 km north-northeast from the center of Mühldorf. The nearest mountain hut is Reisseckhütte, located 0.8km north-northwest. And Hirnhütte is also close by. The saddle is located above the valley Hinteregggraben.
