Description:
Martinscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2500 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 7 km northeast from the center of Zandlach and 8 km east-northeast from the center of Preisdorf and 3 km south-southeast of peak Reißeck. The nearest mountain hut is Reisseckhütte, located 0.9km south-southwest. And Hirnhütte is also close by. The saddle is located above the valley Hinteregggraben.
