Description:
Korntauern is a saddle at an altitude of 2459 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located in country Austria 1.4 km east-northeast of peak Gamskarlspitz. The nearest mountain hut is Hannoverhaus, located 3km east. A bit closer is Radeckalm, which is located 2km to the north-northeast. Southeast of the saddle there is lake Kleiner Tauernsee. 5 km east-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Grubenkarkees, 6 km east-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Kleinelendkees. The saddle is located north of the valley Seebachtal.
