Rosskarkopf is 2563 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km south-southeast from the center of Böckstein and 7 km north-northwest from the center of Stappitz. The nearest mountain hut is Mindener Hütte, located 3km south. A bit closer is Jhtt. Czernin, which is located 1.6km to the northeast. 7 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Tischlerkarkees.
