Mauternitzscharte

Description:
Mauternitzscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2332 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 4 km west from the center of Mallnitz and 4 km west-southwest from the center of Stappitz. The nearest mountain hut is Mindener Hütte, located 5km north-northeast. A bit closer is Stanerhütte, which is located 3km to the southeast. East of the saddle is the valley Mallnitztal.
