Astromspitz is 2811 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 4 km north-northeast from the center of Innerfragant and 6 km north from the center of Grafenberg. The nearest mountain hut is Hagener Hütte, located 4km north. A bit closer is bivouac Dr.-Rudolf-Weißgerber-Biwak, which is located 2km to the north-northwest. 6 km west-northwest of the peak there is lake Weißsee. 6 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Schapperebenkees, 7 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Mölltaler Gletscher. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Fragant.
