Vorder Geißlkopf

Description:
Vorder Geißlkopf is 2974 meter high peak with a cross located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 4 km east-southeast of peak Weinflaschenkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Hagener Hütte, located 2km northeast. A bit closer is bivouac Dr.-Rudolf-Weißgerber-Biwak, which is located 0.8km to the south-southwest. 5 km west of the peak there is lake Weißsee. 4 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Schapperebenkees, 5 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Mölltaler Gletscher. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Fragant.
