Kreuzkogelhütte is also relatively close. 5 km west-southwest of the waterfall there is lake Weißsee. 3 km west from the waterfall there is glacier Schapperebenkees, 4 km west-northwest from the waterfall there is also glacier Mölltaler Gletscher.
