Sparangerkopf

Description:
Sparangerkopf is 2923 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 8 km north from the center of Innerfragant and 9 km southwest from the center of Böckstein. The nearest mountain hut is Duisburger Hütte, located 2km west-southwest. A little further is Brandtneralm. 3 km southwest of the peak there is lake Weißsee. 0.7 km west from the summit there is glacier Schapperebenkees, 1.9 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Mölltaler Gletscher. The peak is located northeast of the valley Zirknitztal.
