Description:
Geißtrogriegel is 2431 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.5 km south-southeast of peak Weinflaschenkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Duisburger Hütte, located 1.4km west-northwest. Hinternaßfeldalm is also relatively close. 0.7 km west of the peak there is lake Stübelesee. 1.4 km north from the summit there is glacier Schapperebenkees, 2 km north-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Mölltaler Gletscher. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Zirknitztal.
