Description:
Oberere Grubenkarscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2947 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 1.0 km south-southeast of peak Tischlerspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Hannoverhaus, located 3km southwest. A little further is bivouac Ali-Lanti-Biwak. 0.9 km northwest from the saddle there is glacier Grubenkarkees, 1.0 km east-southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Kleinelendkees. The saddle is located above the valley Kleinelendtal.
