Description:
Zwischenelendscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2676 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 2 km east-northeast of peak Ankogel. The nearest mountain hut is Osnabrücker Hütte, located 1.8km southeast. And bivouac Ali-Lanti-Biwak is also close by. Southeast of the saddle there is lake Oberer-Schwarzhornsee. 1.4 km west from the saddle there is glacier Kleinelendkees, 3 km west-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Grubenkarkees. The saddle is located above the valley Kleinelendtal.
