Untere Grubenkarscharte

Description:
Untere Grubenkarscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2853 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 10 km east-southeast from the center of Bad Gastein and 10 km east-southeast from the center of Böckstein and 0.5 km southeast of peak Tischlerspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Osnabrücker Hütte, located 4km east-southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Ali-Lanti-Biwak, which is located 3km to the northeast. 0.6 km west from the saddle there is glacier Grubenkarkees, 1.0 km northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Tischlerkarkees. The saddle is located above the valley Kleinelendtal.
