Description:
Steinbachkogel is 2822 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.9 km north-northeast of peak Tischlerspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Osnabrücker Hütte, located 5km southeast. Closer is bivouac Ali-Lanti-Biwak, which is located 1.8km to the east-northeast. East-northeast from the summit there is glacier Kesselkees, 1.9 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Tischlerkarkees. The peak is located above the valley Kleinelendtal.
