Ölgrubenjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 3050 meters and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The saddle is located 11 km west-northwest from the center of Vent and 12 km southwest of Plangeross. The nearest mountain hut is Gepatschhaus, located 3km west. A little further is Watzeberg hunting lodge. 2 km north from the saddle there is glacier Bliggferner, 6 km east-southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Mitterkarferner. The saddle is located above the valley Taschachtal. The saddle is located on the ridge Kaunergrat.
