Planeillscharte - Passo del Planol is a saddle at an altitude of 3077 meters and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The saddle is located 0.3 km east-southeast of peak Rotebenkogel - Cima del Piano Rosso. The nearest mountain hut is Weißkugelhütte - Rifugio Pio XI alla Palla Bianca, located 4km northeast. A little further is bivouac Holzer Hütte. 1.9 km east from the saddle there is glacier Freibrunner Ferner - Vedretta della Fontana, 4 km east-southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Matscher Ferner - Ghiacciaio di Mazia. The saddle is located above the valley Planeiltal.
