Description:
Rietzenkarscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2400 meters and is part of the mountain group Steinberge. The saddle is located 3 km north-northwest from the center of Sonnberg and 4 km northeast from the center of Berg. The nearest mountain hut is Passauer Hütte, located 1.7km east. bivouac Jenningerhorn Hütte is also relatively close. The saddle is located north-northeast of the valley Vorderglemmtal. The saddle is located below the ridge Birnhorn Südwestgrat.
