Salzsteigjoch

Description:
Salzsteigjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 1733 meters and is part of the mountain group Totes Gebirge. The saddle is located 8 km northeast from the center of Tauplitz and 9 km northwest from the center of Wörschach and 4 km east-northeast of peak Traweng. The nearest mountain hut is Linzer Tauplitz-Haus, located 5km west-southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Lögerhütte, which is located 3km to the northeast. The saddle is located above the valley Sigistal.
