Steinschlagjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 3238 meters in the Natural Park Ötztal. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Oberetteshütte - Rifugio Oberettes, located 3km southwest. A little further is bivouac Schäferhütte. 0.9 km east-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Hintereisferner, 1.1 km south-southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Steinschlagferner - Vedretta delle Frane. West of the saddle is the valley Matscher Tal.
