Langtauferer Spitze - Punta Vallelunga is 3528 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Ötztal. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Schöne Aussicht Hütte - Rifugio Bella Vista, located 4km southeast. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 0.9 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Langtauferer-Joch-Ferner, 1.3 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Hintereisferner. The peak is located southeast of the valley Langtauferer Tal - Vallelunga.
