Hochvernaglwand - Croda Vernaga Alta is 3433 meter high peak in the Natural Park Ötztal. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Brandenburger Haus, located 3km north-northeast. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 1.1 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Langtauferer-Joch-Ferner, 3 km south from the summit there is also glacier Hintereisferner. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Langtauferer Tal - Vallelunga.
