Vordere Hintereisspitze is 3437 meter high peak in the Natural Park Ötztal. The peak is located 0.9 km northeast of peak Mittlere Hintereisspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Brandenburger Haus, located 1.4km north-northwest. bivouac Ramolalm is also relatively close. 3 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Langtauferer-Joch-Ferner, 4 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Hintereisferner. The peak is located east of the valley Langtauferer Tal - Vallelunga.
