Im Hinteren Eis - Punta della Vedretta is 3269 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Schöne Aussicht Hütte - Rifugio Bella Vista, located 1.4km southeast. And bivouac Ramolalm is also close by. 1.4 km west from the summit there is glacier Hintereisferner, 3 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Hochjochferner - Ghiacciaio Giogo Alto. The peak is located north of the valley Schnalstal.
