Hasenkofel is 2572 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 0.5 km south of peak Steinschlagspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Schöne Aussicht Hütte - Rifugio Bella Vista, located 2km northeast. A little further is bivouac Schäferhütte. 3 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Steinschlagferner - Vedretta delle Frane, 3 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Hochjochferner - Ghiacciaio Giogo Alto.
