Eggjoch

Description:
Eggjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 3163 meters in the Natural Park Ötztal. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Schöne Aussicht Hütte - Rifugio Bella Vista, located 1.4km southeast. bivouac Ramolalm is a bit further away. 1.2 km west-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Hintereisferner, 3 km southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Hochjochferner - Ghiacciaio Giogo Alto.
