Description:
Jochköfel is 2991 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 0.8 km south-southeast of peak Im Hinteren Eis - Punta della Vedretta. The nearest mountain hut is Schöne Aussicht Hütte - Rifugio Bella Vista, located 0.6km southeast. bivouac Ramolalm is also relatively close. 1.9 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Hochjochferner - Ghiacciaio Giogo Alto, 1.9 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Hintereisferner. The peak is located north of the valley Schnalstal.
